1Consurge, consurge, induere fortitudine tua, Sion! induere vestimentis gloriæ tuæ, Jerusalem, civitas Sancti, quia non adjiciet ultra ut pertranseat per te incircumcisus et immundus.
Arise, arise, put on thy strength, O Sion, put on the garments of thy glory, O Jerusalem, the city of the Holy One: for henceforth the uncircumcised, and unclean shall no more pass through thee.
Consurge, consurge, indue fortitudine tuo, Sione! Indue ad vestimentos de gloria tuo, Ierusalem, civitate Sancto, quia non adiice ultra ut pertransi per te incircumca et immundo.
2Excutere de pulvere, consurge; sede, Jerusalem! solve vincula colli tui, captiva filia Sion.
Shake thyself from the dust, arise, sit up, O Jerusalem: loose the bonds from off thy neck, O captive daughter of Sion.

3Quia hæc dicit Dominus: Gratis venundati estis, et sine argento redimemini.
For thus saith the Lord: You were sold gratis, and you shall be redeemed, without money.
Quia Domino dic hoc: gratis vende es, et sine argento reveni.
4Quia hæc dicit Dominus Deus: In Ægyptum descendit populus meus in principio, ut colonus esset ibi, et Assur absque ulla causa calumniatus est eum.
For thus saith the Lord God: My people went down into Egypt at the beginning to sojourn there: and the Assyrian hath oppressed them without any cause at all.
Quia Domino Deo dic hoc: in Aegypto populo meo descende in principio, ut colono es ibi, et Assure absque ullo causa callumni es illo.
5Et nunc quid mihi est hic, dicit Dominus, quoniam ablatus est populus meus gratis? Dominatores ejus inique agunt, dicit Dominus, et jugiter tota die nomen meum blasphematur.
And now what have I here, saith the Lord: for my people is taken away gratis. They that rule over them treat them unjustly, saith the Lord, and my name is continually blasphemed all the day long.
Et nunc quid ad me es hoc, Domino dic, quia aufer es populo meo gratis? Dominatores de illo inique age, Domino dic, et iugiter toto die nomine meo blasphema.
6Propter hoc sciet populus meus nomen meum in die illa: quia ego ipse qui loquebar, ecce adsum.
Therefore my people shall know my name in that day: for I myself that spoke, behold I am here.

7Quam pulchri super montes pedes annuntiantis et prædicantis pacem; annuntiantis bonum, prædicantis salutem, dicentis Sion: Regnabit Deus tuus!
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, and that preacheth peace: of him that sheweth forth good, that preacheth salvation, that saith to Sion: Thy God shall reign!
Quam pulcherrimo super montes pedes annuntia et praedica pace; annuntia bono, praedica salute, dic Sione: Deo tuo regna!
8Vox speculatorum tuorum: levaverunt vocem, simul laudabunt, quia oculo ad oculum videbunt cum converterit Dominus Sion.
The voice of thy watchmen: they have lifted up their voice, they shall praise together: for they shall see eye to eye when the Lord shall convert Sion.
Voce de speculatores tuo: leva voce, simul lauda, quia oculo ad oculo vide cum Domino Sione converte.
9Gaudete, et laudate simul, deserta Jerusalem, quia consolatus est Dominus populum suum; redemit Jerusalem.
Rejoice, and give praise together, O ye deserts of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people: he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
Gaude, et lauda simul, desere Ierusalem, quia consola es Domino populo suo; redime Ierusalem.
10Paravit Dominus brachium sanctum suum in oculis omnium gentium; et videbunt omnes fines terræ salutare Dei nostri.
The Lord hath prepared his holy arm in the sight of all the Gentiles: and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
Domino para brachio sancto suo in oculos de omni de gentes; et vide omni fines de terra salutare de Deo nostro.
11Recedite, recedite; exite inde, pollutum nolite tangere; exite de medio ejus; mundamini, qui fertis vasa Domini.
Depart, depart, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing: go out of the midst of her, be ye clean, you that carry the vessels of the Lord.
Recede, recede; exi inde, pollue ne vol tange; exi de medio de illo; munda, qui fer vases de Domino.
12Quoniam non in tumultu exibitis, nec in fuga properabitis; præcedet enim vos Dominus, et congregabit vos Deus Israël.
For you shall not go out in a tumult, neither shall you make haste by flight: for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will gather you together.
Quia non in tumultu exi, nec in fuga propera; Domino nam praecede vos, et Deo Israële congrega vos.
13Ecce intelliget servus meus, exaltabitur et elevabitur, et sublimis erit valde.
Behold my servant shall understand, he shall be exalted, and extolled, and shall be exceeding high.
Ecce servo meo intellege, exalta et eleva, et sublime es valde.
14Sicut obstupuerunt super te multi, sic inglorius erit inter viros aspectus ejus, et forma ejus inter filios hominum.
As many have been astonished at thee, so shall his visage be inglorious among men, and his form among the sons of men.
Sicut multo super te obstune, sic inglorio es inter viros aspectu de illo, et forma de illo inter filios de homines.
15Iste asperget gentes multas; super ipsum continebunt reges os suum: quia quibus non est narratum de eo viderunt, et qui non audierunt contemplati sunt.
He shall sprinkle many nations, kings shall shut their mouth at him: for they to whom it was not told of him, have seen: and they that heard not, have beheld.
Isto asperge gentes multo; super ipso reges contine ore suo: quia ad que non es narra de eo vide, et qui non audi contempla es.
