Revelation

1

Et datus est mihi calamus similis virgæ, et dictum est mihi: Surge, et metire templum Dei, et altare, et adorantes in eo:

And there was given me a reed, like unto a rod. And it was said to me: Arise, and measure the temple of God and the altar and them that adore therein.

Et dato es ad me calamo simili de virga, et dicto es ad me: surge, et metior templo de Deo, et altari, et adora in eo:

atrium autem, quod est foris templum, ejice foras, et ne metiaris illud: quoniam datum est gentibus, et civitatem sanctam calcabunt mensibus quadraginta duobus:

But the court which is without the temple, cast out and measure it not: because it is given unto the Gentiles. And the holy city they shall tread under foot, two and forty months:

Atrio autem, quod es foris templo, eicie foras, et ne metior illo: quia dato es ad gentes, et civitate sancto calca menses quadraginta duo:

et dabo duobus testibus meis, et prophetabunt diebus mille ducentis sexaginta, amicti saccis.

And I will give unto my two witnesses: and they shall prophesy, a thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

Et da duo teste meo, et propheta dies mile ducenti sexaginta, amicie sacces.

Hi sunt duæ olivæ et duo candelabra in conspectu Domini terræ stantes.

These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks that stand before the Lord of the earth.

Illo es duo oliva et duo candelabro in conspectu de Domino de terra sta.

Et si quis voluerit eos nocere, ignis exiet de ore eorum, et devorabit inimicos eorum: et si quis voluerit eos lædere, sic oportet eum occidi.

And if any man will hurt them, fire shall come out of their mouths and shall devour their enemies. And if any man will hurt them, in this manner must he be slain.

Et si qui vol illos noce, igni exi de ore de illos, et devora inimicos de illos: et si qui vol illos laede, sic debe illo occide.

Hi habent potestatem claudendi cælum, ne pluat diebus prophetiæ ipsorum: et potestatem habent super aquas convertendi eas in sanguinem, et percutere terram omni plaga quotiescumque voluerint.

These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: And they have power over waters, to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Illo habe potestate claude caelo, ne plue dies de prophetia ipso: et potestate habe super aquas converte illas in sanguine, et percute terra omni plaga et quotiescum vol.

Et cum finierint testimonium suum, bestia, quæ ascendit de abysso, faciet adversum eos bellum, et vincet illos, et occidet eos.

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the abyss shall make war against them and shall overcome them and kill them.

Et cum finie testimonio suo, bestia, que ascende de abysso, i fac contra illos bello, et vince illos, et occide illos.

Et corpora eorum jacebunt in plateis civitatis magnæ, quæ vocatur spiritualiter Sodoma, et Ægyptus, ubi et Dominus eorum crucifixus est.

And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the great city which is called spiritually, Sodom and Egypt: where their Lord also was crucified.

Et corpores de illos iace in plateas de civitate magna, que voca spiritualiter Sodoma, et Aegypto, ubi et Domino de illos crucifige es.

Et videbunt de tribubus, et populis, et linguis, et gentibus corpora eorum per tres dies et dimidium: et corpora eorum non sinent poni in monumentis:

And they of the tribes and peoples and tongues and nations shall see their bodies for three days and a half: and they shall not suffer their bodies to be laid in sepulchres.

Et vide de tribus, et populos, et linguas, et ad gentes corpores de illos per tre die et dimidio: et corpores de illos non sine pone in monumentos:

et inhabitantes terram gaudebunt super illos, et jucundabuntur: et munera mittent invicem, quoniam hi duo prophetæ cruciaverunt eos, qui habitabant super terram.

And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them and make merry: and shall send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt upon the earth.

Et inhabita terra gaude super illos, et iucunda: et muneres mitte invicem, quia hoc duo propheta crucia illos, qui habita super terra.

Et post dies tres et dimidium, spiritus vitæ a Deo intravit in eos. Et steterunt super pedes suos, et timor magnus cecidit super eos qui viderunt eos.

And after three days and a half, the spirit of life from God entered into them. And they stood upon their feet: and great fear fell upon them that saw them.

Et post dies tre et dimidio, spiritu de vita ab Deo intra in illos. Et sta super pedes suo, et timore magna cade super illos qui vide illos.

Et audierunt vocem magnam de cælo, dicentem eis: Ascendite huc. Et ascenderunt in cælum in nube: et viderunt illos inimici eorum.

And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying to them: Come up hither. And they went up to heaven in a cloud: and their enemies saw them.

Et audi voce magna de caelo, dic ad illos: ascende huc. Et ascende in caelo in nube: et inimicos de illos vide illos.

Et in illa hora factus est terræmotus magnus, et decima pars civitatis cecidit: et occisa sunt in terræmotu nomina hominum septem millia: et reliqui in timorem sunt missi, et dederunt gloriam Deo cæli.

And at that hour there was made a great earthquake: and the tenth part of the city fell. And there were slain in the earthquake, names of men, seven thousand: and the rest were cast into a fear and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Et in illa hora facto es terraemotu magna, et decimo parte de civitate cade: et occide es in terraemotu nomines de homines septeme mile: et reliqua in timore es mitte, et da gloria ad Deo de caelo.

Væ secundum abiit: et ecce væ tertium veniet cito.

The second woe is past: and behold the third woe will come quickly.

Vae secundo i ab: et ecce vae tertio veni cito.

Et septimus angelus tuba cecinit: et factæ sunt voces magnæ in cælo dicentes: Factum est regnum hujus mundi, Domini nostri et Christi ejus, et regnabit in sæcula sæculorum. Amen.

And the seventh angel sounded the trumpet: and there were great voices in heaven, saying: The kingdom of this world is become our Lord's and his Christ's, and he shall reign for ever and ever. Amen.

Et septimo angelo tuba cane: et fac es voces magna in caelo dicente: facto es regno de hoc de mundo, de Domino nostro et de Christo de illo, et regna in saeculos de saeculos. Amen.

Et viginti quatuor seniores, qui in conspectu Dei sedent in sedibus suis, ceciderunt in facies suas, et adoraverunt Deum, dicentes:

And the four and twenty ancients who sit on their seats in the sight of God, fell on their faces and adored God, saying:

Et viginti quatuore sene, qui in conspectu de Deo sede in sedes suo, cade in facies suo, et adora Deo, dicente:

Gratias agimus tibi, Domine Deus omnipotens, qui es, et qui eras, et qui venturus es: quia accepisti virtutem tuam magnam, et regnasti.

We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who art and who wast and who art to come: because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and thou hast reigned.

Gratias age ad te, Domino Deo omnipotente, qui es, et qui es, et qui veni es: quia accipe virtute tuo magna, et regna.

Et iratæ sunt gentes, et advenit ira tua et tempus mortuorum judicari, et reddere mercedem servis tuis prophetis, et sanctis, et timentibus nomen tuum pusillis et magnis, et exterminandi eos qui corruperunt terram.

And the nations were angry: and thy wrath is come. And the time of the dead, that they should be judged and that thou shouldest render reward to thy servants the prophets and the saints, and to them that fear thy name, little and great: and shouldest destroy them who have corrupted the earth.

Et irascor es gentes, et ira tuo et tempore mortuo adveni iudica, et redde mercede ad servos tuo ad prophetas, et ad sancto, et time nomine tuo ad pusillo et ad magna, et extermina illos qui corrumpe terra.

Et apertum est templum Dei in cælo: et visa est arca testamenti ejus in templo ejus, et facta sunt fulgura, et voces, et terræmotus, et grando magna.

And the temple of God was opened in heaven: and the ark of his testament was seen in his temple. And there were lightnings and voices and an earthquake and great hail.

Et aperi es templo de Deo in caelo: et vide es arca de testamento de illo in templo de illo, et facto es fulguras, et voces, et terraemotu, et grandine magna.
