Apocalypsis Joannis

Et vidi alium angelum fortem descendentem de cælo amictum nube, et iris in capite ejus, et facies ejus erat ut sol, et pedes ejus tamquam columnæ ignis:

And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head: and his face, as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.

Et vide alio angelo forti descende de caelo amicie nube, et ire in capite de illo, et facie de illo es ut sole, et pedes de illo sicut columnas de igni:

et habebat in manu sua libellum apertum: et posuit pedem suum dextrum super mare, sinistrum autem super terram:

And he had in his hand a little book, open. And he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot upon the earth.

Et habe in manu suo libello aperi: et pone pede suo dextro super mari, sinistro autem super terra:

et clamavit voce magna, quemadmodum cum leo rugit. Et cum clamasset, locuta sunt septem tonitrua voces suas.

And he cried with a loud voice as when a lion roareth. And when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

Et clama voce magna, quemadmodum cum leone rugie. Et cum clama, loque es septeme tonitruo voces suo.

Et cum locuta fuissent septem tonitrua voces suas, ego scripturus eram: et audivi vocem de cælo dicentem mihi: Signa quæ locuta sunt septem tonitrua: et noli ea scribere.

And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write. And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Seal up the things which the seven thunders have spoken. And write them not.

Et cum loque es septeme tonitruo voces suo, me scribe es: et audi voce de caelo dic ad me: signos que loque es septeme tonitruo: et ne vol illa scribe.

Et angelus, quem vidi stantem super mare et super terram, levavit manum suam ad cælum:

And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven.

Et angelo, quem vide sta super mari et super terra, leva manu suo ad caelo:

et juravit per viventem in sæcula sæculorum, qui creavit cælum, et ea quæ in eo sunt: et terram, et ea quæ in ea sunt: et mare, et ea quæ in eo sunt: Quia tempus non erit amplius:

And he swore by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things which are therein, and the earth and the things which are in it, and the sea and the things which are therein: That time shall be no longer.

Et iura per vive in saeculos de saeculos, qui crea caelo, et illa que in eo es: et terra, et illa que in illa es: et mari, et illa que in eo es: quia tempore non es ample:

sed in diebus vocis septimi angeli, cum cœperit tuba canere, consummabitur mysterium Dei sicut evangelizavit per servos suos prophetas.

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God shall be finished, as he hath declared by his servants the prophets.

Sed in dies de voce de septimo de angelo, cum incipe tuba cane, mysterio de Deo consumma sicut evangeliza per servos suo prophetas.

Et audivi vocem de cælo iterum loquentem mecum, et dicentem: Vade, et accipe librum apertum de manu angeli stantis super mare, et super terram.

And I heard a voice from heaven, again speaking to me and saying: Go and take the book that is open, from the hand of the angel who standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

Et audi voce de caelo iterum loque meco, et dic: vade, et accipe libro aperi de manu de angelo sta super mari, et super terra.

Et abii ad angelum, dicens ei, ut daret mihi librum. Et dixit mihi: Accipe librum, et devora illum: et faciet amaricari ventrem tuum, sed in ore tuo erit dulce tamquam mel.

And I went to the angel, saying unto him that he should give me the book. And he said to me: Take the book and eat it up. And it shall make thy belly bitter: but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey.

Et i ab ad angelo, dicente ad illo, ut da ad me libro. Et dic ad me: accipe libro, et devora illo: et i fac amarica ventre tuo, sed in ore tuo es dulci sicut melle.

Et accepi librum de manu angeli, et devoravi illum: et erat in ore meo tamquam mel dulce, et cum devorassem eum, amaricatus est venter meus:

And I took the book from the hand of the angel and ate it up: and it was in my mouth, sweet as honey. And when I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

Et accipe libro de manu de angelo, et devora illo: et es in ore meo sicut melle dulci, et cum devora illo, amarica es ventre meo:

et dixit mihi: Oportet te iterum prophetare gentibus, et populis, et linguis, et regibus multis.

And he said to me: Thou must prophesy again to many nations and peoples and tongues and kings.

Et dic ad me: debe te iterum propheta ad gentes, et ad populos, et ad linguas, et ad reges multo.
