2 Timothy
Testificor coram Deo, et Jesu Christo, qui judicaturus est vivos et mortuos, per adventum ipsius, et regnum ejus:
I charge thee, before God and Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead, by his coming and his kingdom:
Testificor coram Deo, et Iesu Christo, qui iudica es vivo et mortuo, per adventu de ipso, et regno de illo:
prædica verbum, insta opportune, importune: argue, obsecra, increpa in omni patientia, et doctrina.
Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine.

Erit enim tempus, cum sanam doctrinam non sustinebunt, sed ad sua desideria coacervabunt sibi magistros, prurientes auribus,
For there shall be a time when they will not endure sound doctrine but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers having itching ears:
Tempore nam es, cum sana doctrina non sustine, sed ad suo desiderios coacerva ad se magistros, prurie ad aures,
et a veritate quidem auditum avertent, ad fabulas autem convertentur.
And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables.
Et ab veritate quidem auditu averte, ad fabulas autem converte.
Tu vero vigila, in omnibus labora, opus fac evangelistæ, ministerium tuum imple. Sobrius esto.
But be thou vigilant, labour in all things, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil thy ministry. Be sober.
Te vero vigila, in omni labora, opere fac de evangelista, ministerio tuo imple. Sobrio es.
Ego enim jam delibor, et tempus resolutionis meæ instat.
For I am even now ready to be sacrificed: and the time of my dissolution is at hand.
Me nam jam deliba, et tempore de resolutione meo insta.
Bonum certamen certavi, cursum consummavi, fidem servavi.
I have fought a good fight: I have finished my course: I have kept the faith.
Bono certamine certo, cursu consumma, fide serva.
In reliquo reposita est mihi corona justitiæ, quam reddet mihi Dominus in illa die, justus judex: non solum autem mihi, sed et iis, qui diligunt adventum ejus. Festina ad me venire cito.
As to the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of justice which the Lord the just judge will render to me in that day: and not only to me, but to them also that love his coming. Make haste to come to me quickly.
In reliqua repone es ad me corona de iustitia, quam redde ad me Domino in illa die, iusto iudice: non solo autem ad me, sed et ad illo, qui dilige adventu de illo. Festina ad me venire cito.
Demas enim me reliquit, diligens hoc sæculum, et abiit Thessalonicam:
For Demas hath left me, loving this world, and is gone to Thessalonica:

Lucas est mecum solus. Marcum assume, et adduc tecum: est enim mihi utilis in ministerium.
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.

But Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.

The cloak that I left at Troas, with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee: and the books, especially the parchments.

Alexander ærarius multa mala mihi ostendit: reddet illi Dominus secundum opera ejus:
Alexander the coppersmith hath done me much evil: the Lord will reward him according to his works:
Alexandro aerario ostende multo ad me malo: Domino ad illo redde secundo operes de illo:
quem et tu devita: valde enim restitit verbis nostris.
Whom do thou also avoid: for he hath greatly withstood our words.
Et te devita quem: valde nam resta verbos nostro.
In prima mea defensione nemo mihi affuit, sed omnes me dereliquerunt: non illis imputetur.
At my first answer, no man stood with me: but all forsook me. May it not be laid to their charge!
In primo meo defensione nemo ad me ad-fer, sed omni derelinque me: non ad illos imputa.
Dominus autem mihi astitit, et confortavit me, ut per me prædicatio impleatur, et audiant omnes gentes: et liberatus sum de ore leonis.
But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, that by me the preaching may be accomplished and that all the Gentiles may hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
Domino autem ad me assiste, et conforta me, ut per me praedicatione imple, et omni gentes audi: et libera es de ore de leone.
Liberavit me Dominus ab omni opere malo: et salvum faciet in regnum suum cæleste, cui gloria in sæcula sæculorum. Amen.
The Lord hath delivered me from every evil work and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom. To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Dominus Jesus Christus cum spiritu tuo. Gratia vobiscum. Amen.
The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
