Filii autem Israël: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, et Zabulon,

And these are the sons of Israel: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, and Zabulon,

Filios autem Israële: rubene, Symeone, Levi, Iuda, Issachare, et Zabulone,

Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Nephthali, Gad, et Aser.

Filii Juda: Her, Onan, et Sela: hi tres nati sunt ei de filia Sue Chananitide. Fuit autem Her primogenitus Juda malus coram Domino, et occidit eum.

Filii Charmi: Achar, qui turbavit Israël, et peccavit in furto anathematis.

Booz vero genuit Obed, qui et ipse genuit Isai.

And Booz begot Obed, and Obed begot Isai.

Isai autem genuit primogenitum Eliab, secundum Abinadab, tertium Simmaa,

And Isai begot Eliab his firstborn, the second Abinadab, the third Simmaa,

Isa autem gene primogenito Eliabe, secundo Abinadabe, tertio Simmaa,

quartum Nathanaël, quintum Raddai,

The fourth, Nathanael, the fifth Raddai,

Quorum sorores fuerunt Sarvia et Abigail. Filii Sarviæ: Abisai, Joab, et Asaël, tres.

Cumque mortua fuisset Azuba, accepit uxorem Caleb Ephratha, quæ peperit ei Hur.

And when Azuba was dead, Caleb took to wife Ephrata: who bore him Hur.

Cumque more es Azuba, accipe uxore Calebe Ephratha, que pare ad illo Hure.

Porro Hur genuit Uri, et Uri genuit Bezeleel.

And Hur begot Uri: and Uri begot Bezeleel.

Porro Hure gene Ure, et Ure gene Bezeleele.

Post hæc ingressus est Hesron ad filiam Machir patris Galaad, et accepit eam cum esset annorum sexaginta: quæ peperit ei Segub.

And afterwards Hesron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Galaad, and took her to wife when he was threescore years old: and she bore him Segub.

Post hoc ingredior es Hesrone ad filia Machire de patre Galaade, et accipe illa cum es de annos sexaginta: que pare ad illo Segube.

Sed et Segub genuit Jair, et possedit viginti tres civitates in terra Galaad.

And Segub begot Jair, and he had three and twenty cities in the land of Galaad.

Cepitque Gessur et Aram oppida Jair, et Canath, et viculos ejus sexaginta civitatum: omnes isti filii Machir patris Galaad.

And he took Gessur, and Aram the towns of Jair, and Canath, and the villages thereof, threescore cities. All these, the sons of Machir father of Galaad.

Cum autem mortuus esset Hesron, ingressus est Caleb ad Ephratha. Habuit quoque Hesron uxorem Abia, quæ peperit ei Assur patrem Thecuæ.

And when Hesron was dead, Caleb went in to Ephrata. Hesron also had to wife Abia who bore him Ashur the father of Thecua.

Cum autem morto es Hesrone, ingredior es Calebe ad Ephratha. Habe etiam Hesrone uxore Abia, que pare ad illo Assure patre de Thecua.

Nati sunt autem filii Jerameel primogeniti Hesron, Ram primogenitus ejus, et Buna, et Aram, et Asom, et Achia.

And the sons of Jerameel the firstborn of Hesron, were Ram his firstborn, and Buna, and Aram, and Asom, and Achia.

And Jerameel married another wife, named Atara, who was the mother of Onam.

And Onam had sons Semei, and Jada. And the sons of Semei: Nadab, and Abisur.

Nomen vero uxoris Abisur, Abihail, quæ peperit ei Ahobban et Molid.

And the name of Abisur's wife was Abihail, who bore him Ahobban, and Molid.

Filii autem Nadab fuerunt Saled et Apphaim. Mortuus est autem Saled absque liberis.

And the sons of Nadab were Saled and Apphaim. And Saled died without children.

Filius vero Apphaim, Jesi: qui Jesi genuit Sesan. Porro Sesan genuit Oholai.

Filii autem Jada fratris Semei: Jether, et Jonathan. Sed et Jether mortuus est absque liberis.

And the sons of Jada the brother of Semei: Jether and Jonathan. And Jether also died without children.

Porro Jonathan genuit Phaleth, et Ziza. Isti fuerunt filii Jerameel.

But Jonathan begot Phaleth, and Ziza. These were the sons of Jerameel.

Elasa genuit Sisamoi, Sisamoi genuit Sellum,

Sellum genuit Icamiam, Icamia autem genuit Elisama.

Filii autem Caleb fratris Jerameel: Mesa primogenitus ejus; ipse est pater Ziph: et filii Maresa patris Hebron.

Concubina Caleb Maacha, peperit Saber, et Tharana.

And Maacha the concubine of Caleb bore Saber, and Tharana.

Concubina Calebe Maacha, pare Sabro, et Tharana.

Genuit autem Saaph pater Madmena Sue, patrem Machbena et patrem Gabaa. Filia vero Caleb fuit Achsa.

And Saaph the father of Madmena begot Sue the father of Machbena, and the father of Gabaa. And the daughter of Caleb was Achsa.

Filii Salma, Bethlehem, et Netophathi, coronæ domus Joab, et dimidium requietionis Sarai:

The sons of Salma, Bethlehem, and Netophathi, the crowns of the house of Joab, and half of the place of rest of Sarai.

cognationes quoque scribarum habitantium in Jabes, canentes atque resonantes, et in tabernaculis commorantes. Hi sunt Cinæi, qui venerunt de Calore patris domus Rechab.

And the families of the scribes that dwell in Jabes, singing and making melody, and abiding in tents. These are the Cinites, who came of Calor (Chamath) father of the house of Rechab.

Cognationes etiam de scribas habita in Iabes, cane et resona, et in tabernaculos commoror. Illo es de Cinaeio, qui veni de Calore de patre de domo Rechabe.
