    Post hæc autem rogavit Pilatum Joseph ab Arimathæa (eo quod esset discipulus Jesu, occultus autem propter metum Judæorum), ut tolleret corpus Jesu. Et permisit Pilatus. Venit ergo, et tulit corpus Jesu.

    And after these things, Joseph of Arimathea (because he was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews), besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus. And Pilate gave leave. He came therefore and took away the body of Jesus.

    Post hoc autem Ioseph roga Pilato ab Arimathaea (eo quod es discipulo de Iesu, occulto autem propter metu de Iudaeos), ut tolle corpore de Iesu. Et Pilato permitte. Veni ergo, et fer corpore de Iesu.
