Et addetis: Ipse quoque servus tuus Jacob iter nostrum insequitur. Dixit enim: Placabo illum muneribus quæ præcedunt, et postea videbo illum: forsitan propitiabitur mihi.
And ye shall add: Thy servant Jacob himself also followeth after us; for he said: I will appease him with the presents that go before, and afterwards I will see him, perhaps he will be gracious to me.
Et adde: ipso etiam servo tuo Iacobo insequor itinere nostro. Placabo nam: illo dic muneres que praecede, et postea vide illo: forsan propitia ad me.
