Tunc rex præcepit, et adduxerunt Danielem, et miserunt eum in lacum leonum. Dixitque rex Danieli: Deus tuus, quem colis semper, ipse liberabit te.
Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of the lions. And the king said to Daniel: Thy God, whom thou always servest, he will deliver thee.
Tunc rege praecipie, et adduce Danielia, et mitte illo in lacu de leones. Et dic rege de Daniele: deo tuo, quem cole semper, ipso libera te.
