Accidit autem die septima ut moreretur infans: timueruntque servi David nuntiare ei quod mortuus esset parvulus: dixerunt enim: Ecce cum parvulus adhuc viveret, loquebamur ad eum, et non audiebat vocem nostram: quanto magis si dixerimus: Mortuus est puer, se affliget?
And it came to pass on the seventh day that the child died: and the servants of David feared to tell him, that the child was dead. For they said: Behold when the child was yet alive, we spoke to him, and he would not hearken to our voice: how much more will he afflict himself if we tell him that the child is dead?
Accide autem die septimo ut infante more: et servos Davide time nuntia ad illo quod morto es parvulo: dic nam: ecce cum parvulo adhuc vive, loque ad illo, et non audi voce nostro: quanto magis si dic: morto es puero, se afflige?
